Pre Operative
As a female plastic surgeon, I like to connect with my patients on a personal level and understand their concerns and expectations. Detailed history, measurements and preoperative photos help us assess the butt shape and size accurately so that a surgical plan can be made.
Surgery
Buttock Augmentation Surgery involves either increasing the size of the butt itself by FAT or IMPLANTS or by reducing the size of the waist, thigh and hip by LIPOSUCTION to make the buttock look rounder. This creates well defined sculpted buttocks. Skin incisions are well concealed. The scar tends to lighten and fade with time and good scar care.
Post Operative
The surgery can be done as daycare or with an overnight stay. You will be discharged with a prescription of antibiotics and pain killers. Most women do not experience pain after 4-5 days.
Recovery
Recovery takes 3-4 weeks and patients will have to lie on their tummy for 2-3 weeks till the healing is complete. You will need to use a well fitted garment for 2 months. Some activities like jogging, high impact exercises and swimming will be restricted for 4-6 weeks.

We recommend resuming slow walking the next day of surgery. You will need to lie down on your tummy for 2-3 weeks though. Some activities like jogging, high impact exercises and swimming will be restricted for 4-6 weeks.
The Butt Lift results are designed to last for a long time and patients who follow a healthy lifestyle are more likely to experience a better outcome. Over a period of time, weight fluctuations and gravity and aging will play a role.
Weight gain will increase the Butt size. Weight loss will make the Buttocks loose and they may sag.
With Implants, the Buttock size we achieve during surgery stays almost the same. However, with Fat Grafting, you may expect a 25-30% reduction in the size as the swelling goes down.
Most asymmetries can be corrected by surgery. Some minor difference in your body habitus (genetic) may persist.
Buttock sensation may be reduced in the immediate post operative period but tends to improve over 3-4 months
