She then worked as an Assistant professor at Christian Medical College [C.M.C], Vellore for extensive experience in Reconstructive surgery especially breast reconstruction.

Dr. Devayani was awarded the extremely prestigious International Fellowship of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) for 2016, which is offered globally to only 2 international plastic surgeons every year. She has undergone extensive training and hands on experience with celebrated Plastic and Reconstructive surgeons in the United States.
